Consus Group also offers preparing and providing training for the employees of organizational entities that will take part in the process of decision-making connected with the emission trading market. We advise our clients how to:

Thanks to constant monitoring political changes, legislation and development of the emissions trading market, our employees possess a considerable knowledge in this area, which we use when the transaction is executed. We are aware that in the markets at an early stage of development (such as the GHG market in the European Union), transactions require lots of work before they are executed. Hiring a team of traders who constantly monitor the market and people dealing with risk assessment can be very expensive for the company. Also the Board and higher management must acquire the necessary knowledge about the GHG market, which is very complex and change fast. We help our clients estimate the potential and the possible risk of sales, trading and using carbon allowances and other emissions units in the aspect of current legislation. Projects in the European Union can be carried out according to the Kyoto Protocol (JI, CDM) or according to the European Union’s regulations. Our strength is the experience in conducting transactions, also with government bodies, thanks to which we help our clients properly navigate among complex regulations and optimally benefit from possibilities created by emissions trading.

• Portfolio Diversification
Thanks to the fact that we have an extensive access to projects, we can help buyers diversify their portfolio of European Union Allowances and other units, taking into consideration the technology, procedures, coordination, risk etc. We advise after taking into account the political situation in individual countries, project conditions, and size of risk. 

• Due diligence
Our advisors provide you with as much information as possible regarding projects and emissions units to properly access the risk involved and the way of managing it. We evaluate assets and estimate the necessity for buying or selling units. If it is only possible, mainly the management of Consus meet in person with employees who are responsible in the company for the project, before bringing units in the market.
