About us

Consus Group is an advisor and trader in the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and the Kyoto Protocol mechanisms. It is comprised of Consus S.A. and Consus France S.A.R.L.

Consus is a commercial law partnership and has been operating in the market since 2000. In April 2009, Consus sp. z o.o. became Consus S.A. The company is based in Toruń but covers the whole of Poland and countries of the European Union.

In August 2006, Consus sp. z o. o. created Consus France S.A.R.L based on the French law which enabled us to take full advantage of rules for trading in European Union Allowances (EUAs) and other emissions units in the aspect of the Polish tax law.

In June 2006, Consus sp. z o.o. and Consus France S.A.R.L became members of the Powernext exchange in Paris. Both companies were admitted to trading in the market for European Union Allowances called Powernext Carbon, now BlueNext. Moreover, since June 2007, Consus France S.A.R.L is a member of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in Leipzig.

Our membership in BlueNext and the EEX allows us to instantly react to changes occurring in the market without generating additional costs for our clients. We provide our clients who intend to sell or buy European Union Allowances or other emissions units with easy access to the market.

Consus has wide experience in trading European Union Allowances and other emissions units. We conduct both spot and futures transactions and also exchange EUAs for other units.

Consus Group conducts activity in the field of weather risk management. As the only Polish company we are an active member of the Weather Risk Management Association (WRMA).
